The Amazing Grace

December 7, 1941, changes everything for Grace Gallagher.

Following the attack on Pearl Harbor, the young North Carolina nurse feels called to serve her country and joins the Army Nurse Corps. Not far from Grace’s hometown, pilot Joe Jordan makes a life-changing decision of his own, joining the Army Air Forces and eventually flying B-17 bombing missions over Germany with the legendary Eighth Air Force.

Before taking his bomber into the deadly skies over occupied Europe, Joe christens the plane The Amazing Grace in honor of the young woman who has captured his heart. A chance meeting during a London furlough offers them a glimpse of love amid the uncertainty of war.

But when Grace and Joe fall into enemy hands, they confront the brutality of Hitler’s regime and the terrible reality of the Holocaust. With survival far from certain, they must summon extraordinary courage, hold fast to hope, and somehow find their way home.

The Amazing Grace is a story of wartime sacrifice, enduring faith, and love tested under unimaginable circumstances.
